Your body changing as you prepare to meet your sweet baby. Little hands wrapped inside your own. The gentle touch of your loved one as they caress your face and pull you close. The laughter of years of inside jokes. The giggles and shy smile of your daughter as she grows right before your eyes from a little girl to a grown woman or the shadow of stubble on your teenage son and his proud-to-have-it mustache. The well earned wrinkles and bright eyes of your aging parents. The floppy ears and sloppy kisses from your favorite dog, who has been by your side through it all. These are the moments that make life worth living. These are the moments that we try so hard to hold to but are really so fleeting in the end. When you hire Gypsy Fern Photography to document all that is precious to you, my goal is never to just pose you and move on. My desire is to fill your session with laughter, to showcase the love that connects you and your family, and to create genuine smiles and laughter through engaging prompts so that you don’t look back on your session as “oh that time we had family photos” but as the time you had so much fun together. Family/Extended family, maternity, and children sessions are 30-60 minutes at an agreed on location and typically happen one hour before sunset (depending on location). Studio rental available for an additional fee.  

Each of these sessions include optional borrowing of items from the photographer's client closet and guided wardrobe assistance to make your images cohesive and stunning. Sizes for children range from 6 months - size 7 and small to XL adult sizes, with new styles and sizes being added regularly.
